Scored a cool one!

Here's a new addition - a Jackson JJ1, Hot Rod Flames, with ONE humbucker!! [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] The only other I've seen with one hum was in the 1998 catalog, and Scott Ian was posing with it. I bought it last night at Music Go Round for $499, returned it at noon, and went back to get it tonight. I took it back because it was neck-heavy, but after thinking about it, I went back and got it tonight! Sounds great, plays great, and the setup doesn't get much simpler than this!

Very nice. How come it was so low priced? Anyway, when you no longer can handle the balance issues [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] let me know. I have room in my stable for that one. [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have NO idea why it was priced so low. The thing is in about 8.5-9.0/10 condition. No problems to speak of! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] No real cosmetic issues, neck is straight and true, frets have little to no wear, and everything seems original. I guess even the sun shines on a dog's ass some days! I finally got the fabled "guitar for a song"! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] I could't believe the price though...

I'll have to get used to the balance issue. I have had neck-heavy guitars before (a Gibson Explorer and a Jackson Kelly KE-2), and lived with it, but obviously, I don't have them anymore, so what does that tell ya? Other than the two guitars I built, all I have now is the two Les Pauls. BUT ~~ I'm back in the Jackson family again! [img]graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

Nice guitar! [img]graemlins/toast.gif[/img] Hey, try hanging some kind of weight on the tail end of your guitar strap as a counterbalance.
It probably wouldn't take much to offset the neck.
