  • Latch on my case is messed up....

I have an old G&G case for my Rhoads, and one of the latch's on it is messed up...it's always given me a bit of trouble opening, and it doesn't snap up like the other one does, but it's always opened fine until now. Has anyone else had this problem before, and if so, how did you fix it? If not...is there some way I could get another one and put it on the case right beside the broken one to replace it or something? I really don't want to have to buy a new case because these are real expensive...

Replace the latch portion. All you have to do is grind off the rivit heads, push out the inner piece, remove the latch assembly, then replace it with a Cheney brand latch. The rivits are easy to use, they are attached with a simple pair of pliers (I use Channel locks).

G&G will sell you the parts if you contact them, but I believe they have a minimum order. I bought a bunch, but only have one left. If I had more I would have sold you one myself.
