Re: ok guys help I got some Ideas
The 7/8 size Gibson sounds cool. There's a Charvel on the 'Bay right now (pic hopefully linked below - admins, it's not my auction) that looks a lot like the old Hamer KKV that KK Downing used to play, sort of a mini-Gibson style. I've always liked them.

Re: ok guys help I got some Ideas
Do you plan on making the guitar from scratch, or using the wood from exsisting guitars? If can design and build your own guitar bodies, you will get much better quality wood by starting with a body blank and making your own 7/8 scale V than using an Epiphone body. Other than that, I love 24.75" scale guitars, and I think your idea is really cool. One more question though, when you say Jackson neck, do you mean an actual Jackson neck, or a Jackson neck profile, or a Jackson headstock, or both? Any way you slice it, sounds like you've got a great idea going there!!

Man, now you're giving me an idea for a short-scale XTRR, only with rounded body wings instead of pointy! Hmm, Jackson style headstock or rounded like a Gibson?
Dammit, Steve, you're making me want to order a custom shop which I've got no money for! I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Re: ok guys help I got some Ideas
Choose rounded points and a Gibson headstock! Now you're saved from the Jackson Custom Shop because they won't build Gibson shapes anymore!
It'd mean more to put one together yourself anyway; I think Steve's idea is great, and I can't wait to see it! Ron is the MAN!!!!
