• Fingerprints on ebony fretboard

Ugh these are annoying. They look kinda greyish in color and i have to rub real hard to make them come off. Anyone got an easier way?

Have you tried lemon oil? I use it all the time on rosewood and ebony fretboards. It will make any fretboard look brand new and it's really easy to use.

Wash hands before playing?

Seems to be common with ebony boards. Both Carvins I've had with ebony boards show prints easily on the board.

Are you just putting the oil on and wiping it off with a cloth? Try cleaning
the prints off with a toothbrush. That should get the prints off without marking
the board.
