Re: More praise for Kevin Easton of Easton Guitars

Okay, that seriously needs to be a "production" guitar. That is what the Roswell needed, sharkfins and a pointy headstock...not to mention the quilt chlorine top!
Kevin, did you come up with the idea for this custom, or did a customer order it?

I think that's Chlorine - a color usually reserved only for the PC-1

Matt, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the chlorine more of a green burst? Unless it's just the pic, that looks too blue to me. It's gorgeous in any case

Nah Chlorine has always been a blue burst...remember the SL2GX's?

Yeah, you're absolutely right. I just re-looked at the 03' catalog and they have a PC in there and it's a blueburst as you pointed out.....duh

The outer edges are exactly how they look in the picture, but the inner light colored part has a slightly more prevalent green tinge to it.

That's what I would have thought "chlorine" would look like. Thanks BM,

Sorry for being a post ***** but how "comfortable" is the original roz to play? Is it neck heavy, kind of like the stock kelly or does it balance well because of the LSR tuners? Is the Aluminum balanced better? I realize this one in the pic doesn't have the LSRs so I wonder if this would be neck heavy also. I'm just full of questions today huh (I know, full of something right ?)?

Actually they balance quite well. The Grover Jackson Roswell I just sent to Drake ( ) has the pointed head like that one above, and it balances just as well as the regular Jackson import (wood) model with the real Ros head, which balances just as good as the aluminum
