• Hello From Krash

Well I finally made it here.
I have been an avid Ibanez Player since the 80's.
I got burned out an all my gear & sold it all about a year or so ago. I had a few Strat Head Charvels pass through my hands and now that I realize I'll never be a shred hero, I decided to give 'em another shot. I'm a little stunneed at the prices of these guitars nowdays, but I have put toghter one from spare parts. It plays & sounds better than anything I've had in years.

I'll send in some pics of stuff as soon as I get the hang of this board.

Re: Hello From Krash

Oh ....well I'm the guy that got to play George Lynch's ORIGINAL Bengal Tiger guitar for about an hour!!

That's the whole reason I had to get myself another one!

George's guitar is way cool. (so was he)

I have pics as soon as I figure out how to post them!

This is the guitar I played..George says he will never get rid of this one.

The one Bret has is similar to this guitar.

Re: Hello From Krash

The one I have is a Dinky body, basswood (not maple), and is more orange than yellow.

Man, if I had a chance to noodle on the #1 I'd be a screw counting fool! I wonder if he'd let me check the neck heel & neck pocket for markings?

Re: Hello From Krash

I do feel lucky having gotten to play that thing.
He was really cool....we talked mostly about Harleys. I tried not to act like a Dokken Groupie, I think he dosn't like it when that happens. I treated him like a regular guy and it paid off in that he let me wail on his guitar.

He came to the show to check out & purchase a 54 Les Paul, so while he was setting the amp, the 54 came out of the case, and I happened to be in the right place at the right time. He was looking for a place to set the bengal down & I offered to hold it for him.

I sould have bought a lottery ticket that day!!!

Re: Hello From Krash

The one time I met him I had the same experience. A bunch of guys were sort of fawning all over him and I came up and asked him some gear questions. We talked about the purple Marshall, the #1 bengal, Seymour Duncan antiquity pickups, and some other stuff. It was a very normal conversation and he appeared to appreciate that.
