Gold hardware do you like?

Yes, no? I'm just woundering in general what you all think the overall look of a guitar with gold hardware.

To me, it all depends on the finish. I dont think chlorine would look good with black. but gold seems to fit. I also dont think graphics look good with gold. thats were I would go black. chrome is a whole other story. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Its all in the finish. I love it on some guitars, yet think it looks tacky as hell on others.

I like gold hardware; though, it seems to tarnish a little quicker. I've got gold on both of my Carvins, but I'm not too sure I like it that much on the 12-string with the transparent crimson red finish. Maybe it will just have to grow on me a little more. Nah. I'm not particularly found of Gold Hardware. But like toejam says it depends on the finish.

Depends on the finish. In general I think it looks best with dark transparent quilt/flame tops or darker green, blue or purple paint.
