it is a 1999 Jackson SL1, the finish is a burnt orange metallic pearl and when in the light changes to a purplish color, any info is appreciated
Thanks in advance
Nope both interference colors have been discontinued. My local Jackson dealer still has a new one, not the fireglow but the other one.
...forget the name of it.
I think the other one is called interference splatter.

I don't know if I would use the word "rare" or not. But, I haven't seen very many of them around. And, you can still get these colors in the custom shop. Here is the fireglo:
The one that my local shop has is the Cyan/Magenta...more pinkish/purpleish. And, there was also the intreference flames, I think.
Weren't these in the "Zowie" category of finishes?
I believe that finish is called "Interference Fireglow," if I'm not mistaken. Very cool color, and one of the less common finishes. I wouldn't consider it all that rare, as I have seen quite a few floating around.
