I am sure this has been brought up before but I was considering those bodies on ebay and didn't know how well a strat head neck would fit. Thanks, Mike.

Yes the 200.00 ones, thanks for the quick reply. I would like to use the neck I have. Would the space be on the sides and do the screw holes line up? The thickness of the neck is the same. Thanks again. Mike

Re: Strat head neck fit model 2 body ?
U might want to check that. some of the old San Dimas strathead necks are smaller 2 1/8" wide at the heal. standard fender size/ later charvels are 2 3/16" wide so u will need to shim the neck pocket or there will be a small gap on each side of the neck.
Wayne wont do it, michael told me there machinery is setup for 2 1/4" now & they will not re-size there jigs to make custom sizes.
Lee will shim bodies to fit strathead necks.
Trillian will actually make bodies at the correct size NOT SHIM standard ones

Pocket; 2 7/32" X 3 3/32" round nose
