wow, you guys have been busy. This reminds me that it's been nearly a year since my wife bought me my Model 1A for Xmas.

Other than miscellaneous bits 'n' pieces, parts & stuff, I've only brought home one other guitar this year. Today, actually [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

I bought a Variax and a VG88 this year, but sold the Variax after doing some A/B comparisons.

I really want to quit work and stay home with the kid, and I think my wife should buy me a few guitars each year to keep me happy. I have worked full time since I was 16 (and only had about five weeks of vacation during the sixteen years I have spent in the work force), so I think its time to become a kept man.

I hope to get an Archtop Soloist Pro sometime in the coming year, although I may have to wait longer. But I can deal with "just" having a USA Soloist for a little while... In the coming year, I'm hoping to move to PC-based recording and away from my current Akai DPS-12 setup--which has been a nightmare of finding compatible and affordable SCSI hard drives that will last more than one year--but the wife might not be too thrilled with that, since she likes to use the computer occasionally, as well... [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

I also wouldn't mind getting another keyboard in the future, but I'm pretty happy just recording guitars for now.

In 2003 I bought:

but thats it, so compared to some of the guys here, I've had a pretty cheap year!
