        You guys are the experts, it did have the ft worth US stamp on the neck. Is it a fake stamp? I could take a pic to show you what's stamped...

                    Also, not early 80s: That logo is known as the "toothpaste" logo which was used from around 1989-1992?

                    In addition, the lack of sharkfins tags it as a lower end neck. Interesting guitar, but I have to agree with MM's Yugo comment! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
                    The broken piece on the neck makes it look like an ESP! (Not a good thing [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] ).

                      Well, I have an intact Jackson neck which I will build a Warrior natural finish Mahogany body for. It should be more of an authentic Jackson, and therefore more of youre taste. Am still thinking of putting a TOM and string thru design on it...Justs handed over this Charvel to my buddy, and the action and tone is killer. Hey, not bad for a birthday present... He says it plays better than his Jackson RR V or his ESP soloist. Im happy! [img]graemlins/band.gif[/img]
