• Trans Siberian Orchestra

I just saw them a couple Sunday's ago in Seattle. It's a different group touring the west coast. No Jacksons

However, it was still a great show. Al Pettrelli was really good and his wife was phenomenal on keys. I'm looking forward to the spring since they said they're taking "Beethoven's Last Night" on tour in Spring/Summer of '04.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

I saw them 2 years ago in Dayton, OH. Small venue...Great Show! No fire or lazers back then I think I counted 24 people on stage at one time. I'd see them again in a heartbeat!

I caught them Sat at Oakdale in Wallingford CT - great show - lasers, babes, lights - everything a good show should have!! The vocalists were awesome as well.
And it was cool to see Chris playing his "Santa" Rhoads, as well as his sunburst Rhoads

I'm a little surprised that Angus doesn't have a Jackson or Charvel with him. Hopefully I'll get to talk to him before or after the show here in Chicago and find out what the deal is...

Is Angus the guitar player that replaced Alex Skolnik? He was playing an Ibanez... sounded pretty damn good too!

No, that's Tristen (I forget his last name), Angus Clark is the guitar player opposite Al Pitrelli on the West company. I bought my SD Charvel from him. Great guy. Last year when I saw them, he had a custom Charvel made and told me that in memoriam to Criss Oliva, Paul O'Neill wanted a Jackson or Charvel on tour at all times.

Yeah, they put on a helluva show. That gtr Angus has was one hellish thing to make. I had it done for him on 3 weeks! Tim about killed me but it was worth it. I just wish I could have gotten Al to play a JC guitar too. I still talk to them occasionally, in fact every year about this time KimE has me track down Adam and say hey buddy... score me some front row seats? Last few times in Dallas we got to sit up front and it was pretty cool. I still get stuff from them sometimes, cds or videos. I'm glad everyone digs it. Even my kids like it. It's very user friendly, the crowds vary from 2 to 80 and every one of them has a smile on. Totally cool to reach out to that wide of a range of people.

LOL.. When I saw Angus in Chicago, the first thing I said was "how much is that Charvel gonna cost me?" He chuckled...

I talked to Angus just when he and Al were starting to work on things for this tour. Hey, maybe he's saving it for Chicago because he knows I'll be there and asking about it.

If any of you guys have a chance to check out TSO this holiday season, I highly suggest that you do it! I saw then last night in Boston and the show included fire, lasers, snow, dry ice, hot babes and... guitar solos on Jackson guitars!

I used to play in a band with the drummer (Jeff Plate) and although I've seen TSO a couple times before, the show this year is by far the best yet!

The wife and I saw them last year in Houston. Great show. We are seeing them this Saturday in Dallas. I look forward to meeting any JCF'ers there also, so give me a holler.

I only hope that they someday get their asses over here to Europe. I'm dying to see a TSO show, but a 4000 miles travel is... well... err... a little too far

Did any of you guys catch them on Regis and Kelly this morning? It probably took them 6 hours to get set up for it and they only got to play for about 5 minutes. Ouch!! They sounded excellent though!

Yeah, I caught that. The TV was on in the other room, I glanced over and was like "OMG it's TSO and the Santa Clause guitar!"

I love that Rhoads....
