the case was locked, and there were no keys?

That's weird... a new guitar from Jackson would be unlocked with the keys inside.... odd....

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">now that funny....I love that.

I talked to the Jackson Rep for over an hour. And he doesn't think that its a big deal if I tell you guys who brand XXXXXXX is. So on Wednesday they Guaranteed me this guitar I will let the cat out of the bag. He also said that Fender/Jackson/Guild and I forget all the companys they own is taking a very hard look at this distributor.

I just wanna say that if they would have told me the truth from the beginning and said " we made a huge mistake, and shipped it to the wrong place, they would have saved face with me alot more, but instead the y lied to me and the Jackson rep telling us that the guitar was shipped and on its way.

More to follow. You should be able to get the story ending on your local news

Geez... If I had to jump through those loops for any of my lefties, not sure what I would do. I know that when I hear that 'your guitar has shipped' I end-up glued to my front door when I'm home. Every car that passes by get's eyed by me with hopes it's the delivery guy.

After all you've been through, I hope you enjoy your guitar enough to make all this bad $hit go away.

Re: unbelievable story - a must read

Here the latest, the distributor called me today...they have my axe. As I was on the phone he was making the label for UPS red to me here at work. He also through in 10 sets of strings. And the topper, he asked me if I needed anything else, and I said I'll prolly pull the duncans out of it and put invaders in (I love my invaders) and he said when I do that let him know and he'll give me a set of invaders. So this may work out ok after all this crap.

If the guitar shows up tommorow thats 1 brownie point. If I get my pups, that'll be 2 and I'll feel like they took care of me. We'll just sit and wait.

They still deserve a foot up the ass. Strings and pickups notwithstanding, the stuff that's gone on is complete bullshit.

i'd definitely let morgan know about it, no matter the turnout. even though it may work out in the end, no one should have to go thru that, and the issue needs to be addressed.

Re: unbelievable story - a must read

Hey I agree with you all. I am not satisfied! But there is NOTHING the distributor we purchased the guitar from can do to make me happy. To be honest, when I spoke with the distributor, he was embarrased and angry about the mix up. Even said he fired the person that sent the guitar to the wrong address...But, since they lied to my husband...they lost "the benefit of the doubt" I usually give people (Only I get to lie to my man...lol)
By the way, the distrubitor gave me the personal info on the customer they sent the guitar to...all it took was a call from me to get the ball rolling. Why couldn't they do that??? And if they give out my personal info I think I am gonna be a might bit...mad.
The only plus through this all is we met a great Rep from Jackson who was actually nice enough to almost cool my jets. Not an easy thing to accomplish.

I'll be appeased when I get to drool over my man shredin' on his new axe!

I promised not to reveal the name of the distributor we went through...HOWEVER: email me before you place your next order I will give you my "advice" on the company.

Here's a question for future reference: The next time my man wants a new guitar, is it possible to buy direct from Jackson/Fender???? Would make it easier to buy it for him "behind his back."

The next time you decide to buy a Jackson get it from Kevin Easton. He used to work for Jackson in Fort Worth. He's a great guy and I've never read of a complaint from his service. In fact All I've read is praises. He is a man of his word and awsoem to deal with.

P.S. I would still post the dealers name just to warn any of us who may have dealings with him/her in the future or currently. So we can know what to look for and specify.
Good luck with new axe and it is mandatory to post picks of new guitars or relenquish the guitar to the forum to pasted around at our liesure.
