good LA/socal area repair shops/techs

anyone have any places/people they can recommend in southern california? (I'm in pasadena, the closer to here the better, but I'd be willing to go further if it meant better work).

I need to get a good fret levelling/crowning and possibly some nut work (although I'm hoping not) on a new (used) soloist I just picked up.

I've certainly heard good things about GMW, and nothing but good things, but I didn't know they did that sort of thing.. or that is, I didn't they did that sort of thing if that was all you needed done (if that makes any sense; I've only heard of them in the context of much more involved work)

Give Lee a call and ask! Tell em' the JCF sent you. There is no luthier in the world I would trust more.

I had 2 necks fret leveled and dressed by this fellow. His work is reasonable and most exellent.
