Re: Recommend an SLSMG?

No the SLSMG is not a baritone. Its standard 25.1/4". It looks longer becaus of the smaller inlays and the sleakness to the body. I like them alot I was gonna get one but somehting else came up i couldn't pass on so I put it off till I'm ready. But was aso wanting more colors than just the satin black. They are super light but the pups are a little thin (EMG-HZ4). I was gonna swap out the pups when i got one. They are great guitars and solid mohagony neckthru with an ultra thin neck and it's string thru.

We did a small batch run of Faded Wine Red and Trans Black - I believe there are only 50 of each! A rare piece. Though not as light as the SBK and VB, they are VERY cool!

What's good enough for Jim Root is good enough for me.

Question - The Jackson website lists the available colors as being Satin Black and Violin Brown. Yet when I visit musiciansfriend.com, they have Flametop versions available in Trans Wine Red and Trans Black. What's up? The Flametop is even CHEAPER than the Satin and Violin. Check it out:

Jackson website. It says Satin Black and Violin Brown

I do not rate my purchases on how *good* they are for someone else. 50 of each of those imports seems mean...there should be more of those, and less SL2HMAH, that is a limited edition model to me!

just pokin fun, I think those flame tops look bad ass, and if I was not on a NO import kick, that would be the FIRST one I would buy.

Man I want one of those guitars but I don't have enough money. . Those flamed-topped ones sure look sweet.
