This is my problem:

I've got a store who has a KE3 for 495€ (about the same in dollars) and other store that has a RX10D for 529€. The difference between the two, besides the visual are the neck, one is rock maple, the other is maple and the PuPs.
I've heard that the pro series (KE3) is more high end than the X series (RX10D), so the KE3 is more for less(maybe).
I am new to Jackson guitars,so:

Wich one do you think is the better, and why?

KE3, very well built, but you may not like the PUPs, I don`t care for the DD pickups they put in those. That sounds expensive for those though, are they New or Used? Jack.

They are new...
I play metal, so the PuPs aren't a problem , because it's changeable, for real duncans or EMGs.

It depends on what you like better. If you'd asked about two different Dinky shapes this would be easy, but this really just depends on which shape you like more. $529 (I don't know how to make a Euro sign. Sue me) sounds a bit high for an RX10D.

Strictly speaking, the KE3 sounds like the better deal there.

Maple, hard rock maple, what's the difference? They're both probably hard rock maple anyway and good neck woods... it's not like Jackson's been known to have the right specs on all models in the catalogs anyway. Pick whatever one you like and feel is better and be done with it.

I don't care much about the shape. My doubt is because I can't try the guitars before I buy, so I must do the right choice...
But if the pro series are better than the X, all points that i'm choosing th KE3...
I only wanted to hear your opinions about the two axes

Those prices may not be that bad--remember, Jackson guitars cost more in Europe than in the USA.

Apart from the shape, they are functionally the same, as far as I can tell, apart from the KE3 having 24 frets versus the RX10D only having 22 frets. Seems like the KE3 is the better deal, to me.
