I knew this list would peev folks... It amaze's me that that have the fad players on there but not the real all the real player's .. I like Bo, Buddy Guy, SRV,!! and all those old blues players. Some of guy on the list should not be there and the one's that are not there should be.

Why don't we get all the "real" guitarists in the whole wide world to boycott this bloody magazine. Hopin that they will go out of business.

Learning from this crappy company's downfall, future guitar related magazine companies will do real reviews on guitars/guitarists.

Whew, I thought this was going to be a complete fucking joke. But, then I saw that my guitar idol Jack White did manage to edge out James Burton. What the hell did Burton do anyhow? He was just The King's legendary guitar player which pales in comparison to the stunning stuff coming out of White Stripes.

Let's see, in addition to Jack White who are the complete utter fucking jokes on the list:
Cobain, Johnny Ramone, the boys from Sonic Youth, Lou Reed, ... nevermind - this isn't worth the time.

Why is anyone here concerned with what Rolling Stone prints in the first place? That magazine is for the casual/spectator music "fan", not for musicians.
Stop reading that trash, and please stop posting the shit they print here - Rolling Stone has nothing to do with music, it's about fashion.

Yeah, there was another thread about this list a couple of months ago! Rolling Stone is no more credible than Tiger Beat
as far as rating music and musicians. It
hasn't had credibility since the early 70s and even then was more political than
musical.
