Re: J/C Acoustics?

Damn f-ing right. I started on acoustic, so I'll always have a special affininty for acoustic guitars, even though I've found myself playing my electrics much more lately.

I still keep my Fender acoustic around. I've been thinking about finding another one of the same model (Montara), but i've been pre-occupied with electrics lately...

I picked it up on Ebay for 325.00 w/ a SKB in '99-2000. The neck is like an electric. It's a nice playing guitar, quite fast. It's a little weird to have an acoustic/electric with 24 frets. The guitar sounds nice in either mode and has an active 3 band w/ a preamp. Here's the back. Oddly, the serial # starts with a 'C'. Sorry, at this time, not for sale as I have never seen another. Note the classic style tuners...cool.

Comparable to the Kramer-Ferringtons? (I'm dying to get my hands on a strat shape and a tele shape)

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">There's an ATX on the Music-Go-Round site. I think they used to have pics of it on there, and it looked nice.

I think it's more on the electric side than a Farrington. Definitely more streamlined. The body is almost the same thickness as a Les Paul. The guitar is light.

I'm somewhat suprised MGR has one. I'm sure they're imports but I just haven't seen any up for sale. I'll have to 'show off' my JRS-1 when it arrives. I picked one up off the MGR used site for 200.00. It'll be my first USA Jackson.

I picked up my JRS-2 in a local MGR store in the southern suburbs of Chicago, it's been one of my top 3 players ever since... But I don't see an ATX on their site now...

No problem. It's easy to miss listings with no pics. They kind of run together.

                              *Phew* stick the topic!

Guys I'm adding a home-made slivovitz, smoked ham and a huge loaf of bread in the advantage package. And of course boat paddles in case of engine break.

Hope that satisfies your needs to come to Potrugal, hehe.

                              Anyone interested?

I'll make the trip to Portugul. If i can get a page dedicated to my JCF adventure.

You people actually think I'm joking.
