I can definately tell theres no binding on my headstock but I cant tell if theres black binding or not along the sides of the neck. I can see where the ebony fretboard stops because there is a different shade of black all along each side of the neck. Is this actual black binding or just mahogany from the body wood? Its a different shade of black from the rest of the body and the ebony fretboard.

My Y2K has white (or is it ivory?) binding along the neck -

Almost all had ivory binding along the neck only, not the headstock. I do believe a few were made with black binding, though.Comment
