KV and Soloist neck question

Is KV's neck thinner than Soloist's? I'm very comfortable with my KV2's speed neck, and I wonder if there's a big difference between that and Soloist's.

On new production guitars? Yes the speed neck is a bit slimmer than a standard soloist(but still a round profile)...

My favorite shape is the D shape, or the super thin neck with the flat spot along the back.

I seem to remember some limited run Soloist made with the speed-neck. Was it the SL2GX? Or am I way off base?

You are correct. The SL2GX is a speed neck.

I'm not sure about the new SL1/2Ts though. I dunno what profile they will have.
