  • Stewmac = solution?

Well, no one posted when I was asking where I could get a floyd route, so I decided I will do it. On the Stewmac site, I found this...

It includes instructions so I don't think it will be hard. Anyways, I do have a question about routing for the pickups. Again, this is what I am trying to make...

What do I route out for this type of pickguard, ect. Do I route out from the bridge to the neck and by the knobs? What if I left it rear routed, would the pickups and everything adjust fine with the pickguard there?

I hope to start this soon. I am thinking a blank soloist body made of Korina. Hopefully I can do this rear routed so I can have all that stuff routed already.

you can get a rear routed soloist body from warmoth and save yourself a bunch of routing completly. they'll also route for the floyd, and you can ask for the yc option on the control cavity. then just locate and drinn the holes for your pots & selector and away you go.

Actually with the neck I am using (PC1), I have been told the innotaion will be off, and they won't adjust for the 24-fret standard neck.

Ask if they'll route everything but the neck pocket, or get with that 100mph seller on Ebay that does the King V bodies.
