• Jackson Guitar Generator Progress Report

    All:

I have started work on the latest addition to the guitar generator - color inlays. Here's a preview:

What you see here actually works; it isn't a mock up. I have blocks and sharkfins done, but have more work to do to get the rest of the inlay options implemented.

The first person who asks for an option to adjust the color of each inlay position separately (a la Jason Becker's famous guitar) gets a Sully nut noose!

Note that the actual generator on this site has not been updated yet (and neither has my personal site, for those who have access to it...). More work to do before that happens.

Was there a call for that? Let's have the Warrior & Soloist shapes!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yes there was, and it was something I wanted in from the start, but ran into some technical issues that held me up. I have since sussed them out.

I need to get the common features out of the way before I add more shapes. After I finish the inlays, I am going to add Kahlers (don't even say it... ) and LSR tuners. Then come the new body shapes.

You're probably whipping up Soloist designs on KISEKAE as you're posting that.

Plus, my next Jackson will probably be a Warrior, so I'll wait for that shape.
