Great job on implementing those True Custom Shop options like colored binding and stuff

        Hey Eric,

I, along with Ron, am waiting VERY patiently for the Warrior to appear in the generator. (Just letting ya know )

Oh the fun I will have!!!

Wow... colored inlays, which are far less common than colored binding?

Re: Jackson Guitar Generator Progress Report

If anyone else would care to create the custom binding interface, please do so and forward me the source code and images.

I will stop work on everything else until I recieve those.

I have explained in a previous thread why I did not implement custom binding. If you understood my explanation and have found my logic to be in err, please fill me in on a more efficient way of doing it.

I know we need more shapes. I know everyone wants custom binding. I know people want wood grains. And bursts. I have also explained each of these points in various threads, so do a search and find the answers.

I have hundreds of hours into this project, and it has cost me more money than it has made. I haven't complained until now, but if colored binding is that damn important, design your own generator, and have the admins pull mine and post yours. I can handle one of these as well as the next guy but for f**ks sake, enough is enough.

            Later.

                Eric,

                Phenomenal job with the generator!

For those of you who don't understand what goes into designing a tool like this, please realize that adding, editing, or deleting a feature is not as simple as 10 minutes worth of work.

One of the reasons I gave up on my website back in 2000 was nobody seemed to appreciate the amount of work it took just to do something as "simple" as updating a picture.

Give Eric a break and be happy with what has already been accomplished! And if you think you can do it better and faster, than do it yourself .

Being into web graphics and components myself...I totally appreciate what Eric is trying to (and has already) accomplished here. SO that being said...sorry I hadn't said it sooner...but Eric...you are doing a kick ass job with this thing, and my post about the Warrior was not peppered with sarcasm either...I am just personally anticipating the addition of other shpes. Cheers bud!...and keep up the kick ass work!

And to all the others busting Eric's nuts about the generator...give him a break already!!...or like he said..go make your own freakin generator!

Tekky & Ralph: Thanks guys - I know you deal with a lot of the same. Appreciate the kind words.

WarriorX7: No problem bro, we're cool. I didn't read any sarcasm or ill will into your post; just enthusiasm.

I just tried Kisekae and Alex, yours is way easier to use. Keep up the good work.

                          Also Abalon inlay options?

Thanks Alex for all the work you have already done with this. I was having a really tough time deciding what color to have my RR refinished in. I used the generator to mock up all the colors and found the perfect combo for me. If it wasn't for your work, I would have had it done all the color.
