Re: Ok, possible stupid question about a shape

RacerX: Alright internet warrior. Why dont we settle down now and stop being a hard on? Oh I'm a newbie I dont know anything. Give me a fucking break. I just wanted to ask a question but as usual the kids like to pretend the are someone inmportant on their computer machines on an internet text based forum. I'm highly impressed by your ability to post a picture to try to offend me. Thanks for the effort. Didnt work.

Hey Frozen Flame boy. check your insecurities at the door.

If you knew Ron, you would be offended if he didn't give you a hassle, he doesnt' discriminate against the newbies or the vets. It's all equal in the eyes of RacerX.

No one is safe unless Ron is dead.

Boy is that ever the truth. I thought Ron was an asshole and completely hated me till I had a chance to ask him about a few things in PMs. I figured out thats just how Ron is to everyone.

On the brighter side though, Ron, we wouldnt want you any other way.

Look. I dont have insecurities because someone wants to stroke their ego and attack me on a forum. Its happens. I dont care. I didnt come here to argue or flame anyone. Just wanted to know about that guitar. Is that so wrong?

No it wasn't wrong, but the Search function (though somewhat tiny and bunched in with the least-useful options like FAQ and Directory, and in small print under a large-print heading) does work.
There's also the Gallery, as was suggested.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Right, there is a search function. But all the answers I want I didnt find. I know of the body being bigger. Are there any hardware, pickup, or finsish options available for those guitars? That kinda thing. Its not like I asked between the diff on a Rhoads and King V

Yeah I'm a newbie here. I've been on plenty of boards before, and I knew a few of the people here before I even posted. So its not liek I'm some 14 year old who just wants to piss people off and has no clue of whats going on.

The original Kelly, named after Brad Kelly from '80s Australian band, Heaven, sat down and designed the guitar with Grover Jackson. I believe it was then known as a "Special Explorer". Most were made with cutouts in the sides of the body, but there was at least one made without the cutouts that board member Greg Crowe owns. The bodies were downsized later on, then they were downsized a third time, because of Marty Friedman, to the size we know today.
