Very sweet looking. I'm definitely all for hardtails.

That finish is pretty neat too, maybe an option to have the whole bridge done like that.

Wow, nice piece Kev. You are gonna have to put Sully's name on top for all to see, though!!!

Wow....as a hardtail fanatic, I gotta say that looks insane and I would buy one in a heartbeat....seriously, is this going to be available as a "Sully" aftermarket part?

Are you guys using the narrow 2 1/8 spacing (ala Dimarzio...), or the wide (nearly) 2 1/4 vintage spacing?

Looks awesome - nice work!

thanks for the kind words, steve! yes it will be an aftermahhket pahht.

we're workin out the spacing; we've had a few different measurements, actually. kev's hahhdtail had a spacing of 2 1/32, and the measurements i had were 2 1/16. what's pictured is the proto, and i can tell you that when they're made available, they'll be how the hardtail guys like 'em.

Basically at this point the best I can say is it can be made in any spacing you want. Sully's motto was "when off the shelf just isn't good enough" and I think it can be as flexible as that .. it will be a custom part so it's not a big deal .. The other thing to note as of right now I cannot find anyone else making those bridges or even good old brass saddles ..All the newer stuff is stamped plate as it's much faster and cheaper to make.. I still have a fondness of the thick Brass plates .. I'm of the belief that the mass it adds is a good thing ..

Well, git on it I'll place my order now for two done up in 2 1/8 spacing - the Fender spec'd vintage 2 1/4 spacing leaves strings dropping off the fretboard and is really ridiculously wide.

For hardtail geeks this is like the second coming of the Messiah or some sh!t like that, and I say that because yeah, nobody is making a bridge like this...

Again, nice work.

no, iwas thinking more in the brain surgery department.
if you can make something like that, you could probably
do something of equal excellence on me.
