only 2 springs like in my musicman van halen and in my wolfgang peavey as well.

I use 2 springs in my floyd loaded guitars. I set them in a v shape and I use 9 gauge strings.

It was pointed out in another thread that there was a press release on Harmony Central. Here's the text:

So, if I'm interpreting the language correctly, only the "select number" of guitars played by Ed live will end up auctioned.
