did a refinish job on an old RR94

well, this is an old RR94 I got a while ago (didn't manage to do some pics earlier).
I bought it from ebay and it came in totally fucked up condition, so I did a complete refinish on it.

originally it had an all and all over cracked red finish a black pickguard and headstock and some selfdone airbrushes on the back that looked really aweful. the seller didn't think telling me before was needed, so I was quite surprised to see this, but anyway...

here it is. I refinished it plain white, body, headstock and pickguard. I ordered some PU rings from budman to make it look perfect, and I'm quite satisfied with the result.

it's nothing but a cheap project guitar I tuned in C to play around with and rarely use, but it was great to try some things out.

That looks killer bro! I think you did a great job on it.

My RR is about to go on vacation and visit a good friend for a while. She is getting a facelift while she is gone. Ill be sure to post before and after pics when she is done.

That looks great, nice job. Love the matching face on the headstock. The fire crackle next to it, is that a model 6?

Model 6s have sharkfin inlays. That one has dots.

yes, this is my first project. it was kinda difficult to get the covered PU into that guitar, I had to open up the caveties a little to make'em fit, and the neck one had to go a little down, to make the PU ring fit with the fretboard, but it's all in now... [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
