Ibenhad uses a different pivot post spacing than everyone else (or at least different than Floyd Rose, the international locking tremolo standard which Ibenhad flagrantly disregards), so replacing it with a better trem was out of the question.
Some dealers will include the hard case with a DK-2 or at least won't rip you as bad as some others (avoid Musician's Friend - they are the catalog sales division of Guitar Center, and they suck)
If all else fails, you can get a good used case cheaply from Ebay.
As for breaking stuff, once you get it you'll see what's what and how everything works. About the only way you can break it is if you drop it on the head or slam it against a wall, but that's true for every guitar.
Rule #1: Play around with it - if it moves, move it. If it's a switch, switch it. If it's a knob, turn it. If it's a button, push it. If it sounds like it's breaking, stop it [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
