Are Charvel guitars very heavy or light. How much do they weigh? I prefer light guitars.

my model 3 is light, but it all depends on the wood.

Just another thought for you, Rudy, but do some searching here on the forum and get some information on the various trems available on the Charvels. A lot of people don't like the Jackson JT-6 trem, though some guys do. Some of the Charvel "Model" series guitars had the JT-6, while some had different trems, including a few with Kahlers.

The guitar is a dark green, it is on ebay and in pretty mint shape. i would give the link but i am not sure if that is against policy.

I was looking around, seems you can get the new model A's pretty cheap, alot of places are doing close outs on them now, i saw a model A Plus for about $599 and a model A regular for $460

Van, let me know how it is when you get it, i prefer the plus as the body shape looks a little more rounded. At least by pictures i see it seems that way.

I already have one. I got it from a member here a few months ago (thanks Brad).

They are incredible guitars, the neck are supposed to be a san dimas copy, with an ebony board and mahogany body i don't know how ya can go wrong. The only draw back maybe the pickups, they are a little too hot, but I just back em as far away from the strings as I can (and its still too much gain.). You cannot get a clean sound out of these. I still love em. I play it more than my DK-1.

yeah i am waiting for the price to drop a little more, then i will get one. If i see one for under 450 i will buy it on the spot.
