• Which do you prefer?

The bigger SKB plastic cases or smaller tolex covered G&G cases?

Also, which is better for road use?

    Re: Which do you prefer?

I prefer the SKB cases because the inside is molded, which means less risk of movement. Wish SKB and G&G would come together - G&G/tolex outside, form-fit inside

to store or carry my guitars, I like the G&G better... room to actually PUT stuff in, like cables, extra strings, blank cassettes, etc...

      For selling and shipping, SKB.

SKB, I like the cases that fit the guitar better.

To me the G&Gs look better but the SKB probably protect better. Would one last longer than the other? I would say that it would be a toss up.

SKB case, because the guitar is really save in it.

I prefer that such questions get asked in the "Polling Place" section, where they belong.

For road use buy a flight case if you can afford it. If not then the SKB provides better protection because of the form fit insides.

G&G, something about those classy cases over plastic. Jack.

Is the SKB case the one that comes with the US Select Series? If yes, does anybody have have a picture of a G&G case? I'm not really sure if I've seen a case like that

I like the SKBs. I like the way they are form fitted, but I also like the plastic exterior. It's easier to keep clean, and stands up to abuse a little better. My tolex covered cases tend to get scuffed up a lot.
