I am amazed, he does everything so fast without a care! And he gets everything perfectly strait!

He slices the fret spaces like he was slicing meat in a deli!

I know there are those here in the forum who who don't have a very high opinion of him, but I owned #6 prototype of the Wayne special and it was the nicest playing guitar I have ever ownrd. I sold it to another JCF member for a considerable sum and he was very happy with it. The man can build a hell of a guitar if he's in the mood. JMO Dana

nonamemx, thanks for the heads up. I've been watching every second of it and it explains a lot. Cool. I wish they had shown how to route the 5-way blade switch in that body + shown how to bandsaw the bevels and contours for the arm rest and stuff.

I kept watching the template routing videos over and over again... I couldn't understand how he routed out the pickups and trem cavity when the template was UNDERNEATH the body blank where he couldn't see it. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

Its a pin-router. The wood can only move according to the template on the other side, so the cutting bit stays in one spot and you move the wood around.
