Related to the Fender buy out... why were some long time Jackson dealers dropped all around the world? I keep seeing references to this on different ex-Jackson dealer sites but, no explanation as to why.

Just a guess, but most likely because Fender requires a larger amount of inventory than AMIC did. Some of the smaller stores probably couldn't afford to carry a larger inventory.

Hmmm, it's been a few years since I've shopped back there but I recall seeing Fender products in a lot of rat-hole little mom & pop shops back in the Midwest.
