Wow, a lot sure can change in just a few hours! I left here at 7:00pm last night, since then the new Charvel site has been launched. I just spoke to John Walker (the big cheese at J/C). As the press release on the Charvel site states, there is also going to be a Custom Shop Relica of the current Frankenstrat complete with dings, dents, scratches and cigarette burns. They're only going to build 100 of them and it's going to be introduced at Winter Namm 2005. No pricing info is available at this time.

So these new EVH Charvel models have necks that are based on a Music Man, which was taken from a Kramer, which was a copy of a Charvel? [img]/images/graemlins/brow.gif[/img]

So that will be what, about $2500? Not bad considering the "holy grail" B/Y Charvels have been selling on the 'bay for 5 - 10 grand.

This is a guitar that I must have, right along with a GMW Polka Dot Vee.

The latest word is the EVH guitars may not be limited in production after all. It's a good thing we've got the lowest of the low serial numbers coming!
