Re: In memory of
He never really had a chance. Most of us who take life for granted could never compete with what that young man offered. That was truly a loss. RIP bro! My goal in life is to be the kind of asshole my wife thinks I am.

Re: In memory of
Randy was so far ahead of his time, I don't think we really know now the full impact of what he brought to the rock guitar arena, and also the classical influences.
It is terrifying to think what he would be doing now or where he would have went musically.
He was so damn good at everything...it was freakish....mind boggling speed, incredible legato, attack, rapid fire licks, and long runs played flawlessly (even live!!).
What a terrible loss to his family and the world.

Re: In memory of
I can't say I'm the biggest Rhoads fan, I don't own his whole discography and I can't dominate all in some kind of Randy trivia, but I do have a picture of Randy in my room, and every time I hear him play, I am moved. He was a simply unreal musician, I can't even imagine what he could have accomplished if given more time.
