its funny how i always associated mr. sandoval with randy only. then i saw that underneath the ESP logo-ed original M-1 tiger, i see a sandoval logo underneath. (george calls it the Endorse-o-caster). and now i hear about Oz's explorer!

I read an old Guitar Player Magazine (i think) article where Eddie mentions a Star body which he recently bought from Charvel. That interview was from 1978.

If you put the strap pins in the right place, they balance perfectly. The pins on my Shattered Glass Star are 3/4" from the front edge to the center of the screw and in the center of the neckplate, and 3.75" from the center of the pin to the "crotch" of the body, and it balances perfect - wherever I put it, it stays (using a nylon strap).
