Small world, dude. I also bought my first Jackson from Drome Sound in '86, a Soloist. Traded in a Kramer Pacer Imperial to do a custom order.

When I was in high school I'd drive over an hour to Drome to check out the guitars. Schenectady store still there but Albany is long gone...What color is your strat? Quite a while ago, they throttled back their music gear business big time - not much being offered there. And they stopped being a J/C dealer a long, long time ago.
