That was my guitar, I sold it to Dave. Looks like he changed the pickups and frets after getting it. It's always nice to see one get some serious use from a pro.

It's a very nice guitar. I don't know about the "used it on most Overkill albums" part as he says. It was maybe 4 years ago that I sold it to him. I'm sure it's seen plenty of use since then.

At the same time Dave sold Robert Witte his blue / black double RR and sent me the money to buy this in a 3-way deal.

Yeah...that makes sense as I remember seeing the Double RR for sale on Ebay maybe 4-5 years ago...I was gonna grab it, but Rob scored it before I could see if I could swing the $$...another one of those axes you regret not jumping on immediately...

Yeah, sorry - I meant to say most "newer" Overkill albums like Killbox 13, and also Dave's new band speedkillhate. He said he never toured with the Kelly though (good IMO since I hate beaters).

Well, I'm not current with the band and have no idea what they might have done post 80's. I know Overkill has been around for 20+ years. If Dave is relatively new to the band then he probably did use it on all the albums he's played on.

In any case, that Kelly is great guitar that is now even better with some documented touring and recording.

Edit -oh, and when I said "I don't know about the used it on most Overkill albums part as he says", I was referring to Dave saying that, not Brett.

Nice Kelly!
Dave Linsk is sick. He shreds and has an awesome style / stage presence. I hadn't listened to Overkill for a long-long time then bought the "Wrecking Everything" DVD and was blown away by this dude.
But yeah, he hasn't played on "most overkill albums". He usually plays Epihone Les Pauls and Odin Customs I believe and correct me If I'm wrong I belive he was a listed epihone artist.
