man, I didn't even notice the logo 'til someone mentioned it. I thought your point was that the woodgrain was identical on both headstocks. Doh!!
Of course, it could be that they face all the new headstocks with an attractive "wood like" plastic veneer to ensure consistency from guitar to guitar.Hail yesterdayComment

Look close at the pic#2 the edges of the "missimg" part
looks lot clearer than the edges of the rest of logo.
Looks like somebody messing with the pics
