I'm a little ways from starting up, I'll tell ya what... The Model 3A in the import Charvel section is what I'm considering the first prototype.

Now hear me out, I have no delusions that what I'm going to be doing at first is anything more than buying a bunch of parts, modifying them slightly, putting them together, and then branding them as mine. This does not a guitar company make. But... it's how Wayne got started... Maybe it will work out, maybe it won't, but I think it will be cool to try..
