    I want to try to make a mutt again. Just some practice with guitars. And i see this nice looking body.

    I have a 24 fret neck that I was going to use on a Kelly, but sold it that.

    this is the neck i would use.

            I am not sure but in this photo (pic) it looks like the trem post are sitting on a metal brace. I don't know if Jackson used this type of setup. Also the volume knob dosen't seem to directly under the pickup. I don't think it is a Jackson, but I could be wrong.This body looks alot like one I bought on ebay. (different seller I think) I had to sand out alot of overspray in the trem cavity and neck pocket to get it to work right. I installed a DK-2 neck on it and it worked fine.
            Just one more guitar!

              They look like Jacksons to me. I can't see what piece of metal you were talking about. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] The black one looks like a good body to start with. IMO.

                      Yup.

                      That's why I said "essentially" and "type". Look at the LP copies that Rondo music sells... they're not exact, but I'd call them "Les Paul-type" bodies in a second.
