• Does this guitar exist? Specs: 24.75" scale, 24-fret neckthrough, Floyd, etc.

I was wondering if there is a [preferably USA] 24.75" scale 24-fret neckthrough Soloist/Strat shape with HSH pickup config and a non-recessed Original Floyd Rose. Any fretboard type is fine, as well as inlay type, although sharkfins on an ebony board would be my preference. Headstock can be any shape. Are there any Jacksons/Charvels that fit my specifications, and what are they? If so, what are the prices (including the hardshell case), new and used, on this dream machine?

The Fusions and Charvel 475XL are the only short scale strat style Jacksons that I am aware of and, of course, they all feature bolt on necks. Someone used to make a Jake E. Lee signature Strat. I think it was ESP, but it might have been Jackson. I think it had a fixed bridge and a short scale, but I don't know whether or not it was neck thru or not. Neck thru was all the rage back then, so there is a good chance that it was.

Good Luck,
Ricey

Ricey, the Charvel 475 was standard Fender scale: 25 1/2 inches. You're right, the Fusions were shorter. So were the original Warriors (which were neck through, of course) and the Soloist Archtop Pros which were set in necks.

You'd have to find a genuine Custom Shop to match those specs, NOTP. The Soloist Archtop Pro comes the closest: dual hums, recessed Schaller trem, ebony board, sharkfin mop inlay, and the short scale.

A 750XL is basiacally the same as an archtop pro though right???

Yes, very similar. But the Charvel has a thicker body, a slightly thicker neck profile, a rosewood vs. ebony board, and a painted logo, not mother of pearl. Some 750's have a completely unrecessed tremolo, as does mine, see Gallery. Others have it recessed. Also, the 750 had covered pickups with a five way switch, the AT Soloist Pro had uncovered pickups with a three way toggle. And the 750 was available in solid colors, which gave you a matching headstock, but the AT Soloists were only with trans tops and a black headstock.

What about an SLS? Or is that a 22 fretter?
Well you could always go the custom shop route.

everything is said right now.
i agree with charvel750, the soloist archtop pro is the guitar which came very close to your discription. but "only" two hum, no SC pup and a recessed schaller floyd rose.

There's the Kramer Nightswan.
24.75" scale,
R1 nut,
Ebony board with winding dot inalys,
one bridge hummer and a middle hummer,
top-mount Floyd
And a Honduras Mahogany body.

It's awesome!

Edit: I just noticed you wanted it to be neck-through as well. Oh Well

This is the only department I wish Jackson had more of IMO.

I always thought the Kelly should be 24 3/4" since it kind of sits like an explorer. I'm also suprised the Rhoads is strat-scale since Randy came from playing a Les Paul Custom. I'd really like to get my hands on a 24 fret short-scale Rhoads some day through the custom shop
