Actually, I've been a member since the old board - just got nothin' smart or interesting to post about. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] Everybody here seems pretty cool most of the time (better than any other forum I lurk in). My confusion was that I know you can't post an ad but I thought you could reply to an ad. That and I'm color blind so red looks like grey to me. BTW, anybody know if it's spelled grey or gray (paging Racer X) Thanks again for all the info you guys offer up on Jacksons! Hey Tekky- Is there a way that you could just lock members out that don't have the required post count from of this section??? Or would that mean you would need a password or something to get in... That would be a hassle! I guess big red letters is the best solution!

no, the only way to do it is to make it a locked forum, and we'd have to manually grant access to members. which is fine, but we're not at that point yet.

I know, I ran a couple of boards and there was the function that enabled you to specify a user rank, to whom the subject won't be seen or to whom the subject will be seen.

I guess there will be some programming ...

It's the same thing, however to assign the users who can access it, we would have to go through all 3000+ accounts. There is a software upgrade coming up. It may be able to address our concerns in a simpler solution. Until then we'll just continue policing.
