The funny thing is I HATE KISS...no offense to the KISS fans on this forum. I really just grabbed this for what it is - a possibly one-of-a-kind custom shop Jackson that fits my collection.

I got it from ebay for about $1550 (my bid was $3K, but no one else bid - lol)...chump change for what this is. It's in unplayed condition, and yeah, I agree - GOTM for sure.

As far as I know, there may be TWO of those, but I'd hafta see the other one to know for sure. I *thought* there was one with fins, but it was painted kinda cartoony - remember that 38 Special-shaped body that was painted in totally unrealistic colors - looked like something out of a comic book - the other Axe I recall seeing looked like the same crappy comic book paint work with weak detail and light blue highlights (how NOT Metal [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img])

I do wanna know two (or more) things - if you hang it by the head on a "pointy-geetar" stand with no bottom support, does it lean to one side? And how comfy is or is not the body with a strap? Does it lay flat out like a Strat when you let it go?

Newc, yeah, it hangs to the side on a stand - see the pict. I had to compensate to make the guitar look straight. As for how it feels playing it - f&ck that. It's just a collectible. I'm not playing this one...much like most of my collection. I play a few Shannons, the EVH MM's, the Steinbergers, and some Warmoths I built, but the rest just sit.
