Sounds like a CHS-2. The CX series guitars had the "eagle-beak" headstock. The CHS series has the "Sears", "PC", or "Pseudo-strat" headstock.

Actaully im just babysitting the guitar while a friend moves he only payed 75 for it seems like with some new hardware it could be a real nice guitar...

CHS-2 it is. They're Korean made. Despite that, they're not bad guitars. I just picked one up myself on eBay.

so for 75 bucks did he get ripped? i mean he kinda did since he bought it and gavve it to me the next week which is my first charvel now

Actually I paid more than that. 50 bux is a good price. They're basic guitars. Standard tremolo, marginally ok pickups. It's a good base for upgrades though.

THanks Tekky for the info atleast we know what it is and didnt get to ripped....some new pickups and some tuners and itll be rockin!
