My old 1987 Charvel Model 6, which I sold many years ago, much to my regret....Damn, I wish I still had that axe! ...Hindsight is 20/20, I guess.

It had to be my Jackson PS4 Performer with Duncan '59 (neck) & Bill Lawrence L-500 (bridge) PUPs. Tho its made in Korea, it has survived constant abuse and shredding since 1994. Im comfy with Ibanez RGT models too.

My 85 San dimas soloist by far. This would be the last guitar I would sell. I hated it at first because of the color, but I really dig it now.

Seated - Stephens Extended Cutaway - Ec29 or Ec36, although the 36 is tough to play due to narrow fret board/pickup placement.
Standing - Esp explorer custom.
Best neck - Les Paul 1990 reissue of the 1960 (slim taper neck) - best year for the reissues.
Overall - Jackson Warrior - early 90's USA run.

My Charvel Fusion. It's light, small, and the neck is like butter!

It's too comfortable, so I don't play it much.

I love my San Dimas Charvels, but I think my most comfortable guitar is a custom built guitfiddle. The body is a Chandler soloist shape (2 hums and a floyd) and the neck is a Warmoth compound radius that I shaved down to flatten it out. Then I held sand paper between my thumb and the neck like I was playing it and ran it up and down. So it is kind of fit to my hand. Oh, it is also scalloped from the 12th fret up. Other people seem to like it too. It does have a SD Charvel neck plate on it so maybe that helped out a bit.

Ibanez Iceman PS10-2. I guess it's not so much that it's the "most comfortable", but more "the one I'm the most used to". For a long time it was my main stage guitar, so I was accustomed to the way it felt....I miss it.

I would have to say my old Peavey Raptor. That guitar just has something I have yet to find in any other guitar, The neck is as thick as a damn bat, After I put some EMG's in it, The thing came alive.

i´d combine the body of my model1 with the neck of my ke2, for most comfortable playing on the sofa
in studio i´d choose my 86´model6
and live nothing goes over a kelly

Carvin and my Jackson tie for first place.

- a Carvin I played in a store one day. Smooth neck, great fretwork, definitely one of the best necks I have played.

- my Jackson DK2S. I love the Jackson thin/wide necks, and the Sustainiac really compliments my playing style, so it's the most "comfortable" to play in that it facillitates musical expression in a way that no other guitars of mine can. The guitar itself feel really good whether seated or standing.

- my Agile AL3000 Prestige and Yamaha RGX420S tie for second place. Both have excellent playing necks that are not far behind the Jackson DK2S. And I learned on my Yamaha, so I guess I am the most familiar with it. It feels like "home".
