Re: Most comfortable guitar you have ever played.

I think the most comfortable would be the Vigier guitar i played a while ago. Fantastic neck and fret work. Light weight and low action. I wish i had the money at the time other wise i would of bought it in a heartbeat. The next would be my Jackson RR3
93 USA Soloist EDS
USA HT6 Juggernaut
Charvel DK24FR

My SLSMG is so light and thin its fantastic. Much better to play over long periods then my other geetars.

My Koa SD1 is a very comfy guitar. Great weight, great contours and 24frets. The Custom made from it is awesome too. Strats with contours are very comfy and easy to play.

My SL4 is extremely comfortable and easy to play and feels like it has less string tension somehow, even when it's tuned the same as my other guitars (don't really understand why - it' 25.5" scale). Oddly, my Squier Strat also has that very low tension feel to it. The only downside to my SL4 feel-wise, is I sometimes slip off the treble side of the fretboard in the first few frets. Had to start playing "Great White Buffalo" in a different position, it was so bad!

I tried an SLSMG in a store, and that was awfully nice, too. Nice thin neck and body. It almost felt like I was cheating playing that thing!

It's a toss up for me between my WR1 and my new (old!!!) '84 Charvel. The Warriors are just so comfortable, even though they are a spikey shape . If only the Charvel had a Floyd, it would be my most comfortable axe. The neck is incredible and it is the perfect weight.

I'm just about to install a Schaller Floyd to replace his P.O.S. JT580LP trem. I'm going to experiment with the nut, first of all try an R3 Locking nut which i'm hoping will have a tighter string spacing than the cheap metal original. I'll post results as soon as I can get hold of an R3 and fit it. (Schaller deliveries in England are terrible, I don't know what it's like over in the States?)

The '89 Jackson strat was the most comfortable guitar I ever played. The dinky bodies always feel a little weird to me, even though the size difference is small. And the unfinished neck on that strat was so smooth and comfortable.

Still don't know why I was so stupid as to sell it.

My Jazz'R is a slight favorite as far as body shapes go and I'd give the nod to my Fender Custom Shop Strat for the best-feeling neck (I can't quite put my finger on why but it just feels "right" - it's probably the strathead ). If I were choosing one overall it'd probably be either the Wolfgang or Soloist with an honorable mention for the Warrior.

Re: Most comfortable guitar you have ever played.

My three most comfortable guitars... the warrior, most comfortable to hold sitting or standing... the strathead, most fun to play, the kv, the easiest to play. All three have super thin necks, super low actions, and fit better than most of the other Jacksons I've owned (and sold off). These three are permanent keepers...

most comfortable for sitting down and playing/most comfy body was definitely my ibanez js100(joe satch sig).

other then that, my jackson sl2h-mah has the best neck and it just feels so smooth with that neck thru, plus, it looks so pretty in transparent green

i wish i had more money, some rich people would get a big house cool cars, etc. I might buy i big house, but itd only be big because id have the largest guitar room in history, filled with tons of jacksons, carvins, a few gibsons, and maybe a prs dragon(im not a big prs fan)

My old 1986 Charvel model 6. Great playing guitar.

I bought this one in 1986/87 and swore I'd go to my grave with it. Even my wife has attached this guitar to me as being my favorite ..

My Jackson USA Soloists for sure, followed by my Charvel Model 2 and then my Hamer Chapp Customs. Jack.
