• Strat Knobs on your Jackson

Anybody uses Strats Knobs instead of Metal Dome Knobs on your Jacksons?! If so, please post pictures of you babies with Strats Knobs.

The bloody Matal Dome Knobs always gets in the way, therefore, i'm thinkin of change them.

And also, will the Strats Knobs slot right in or do i have to replace the pots?

    Thanx

The Dinky STD came with the "top-hat" knobs. See the tread in the Import section for pics.

Chrome can take on rather gold hues depending on the light. I've bought items off eBay where the pic was taken outside and the chrome looked solid gold from the sun, but is really chrome. I just needed to look more closely. That floyd is chrome, the pickup ring looks brass, but it think it has a reflection of the light.

Looks like chrome to me, too. Those knobs actually look pretty decent.

Fong, most metal dome knobs are 3/4" x 3/4". Carvin sells a smaller version, 5/8" x 5/8". These smaller ones might solve your problem, while still having the same look. Here's a pic of the two next to each other. web page
