JJ2s Discontinued

I was talking to a dealer today and they said Scott Ian has left Jackson and the JJ2 is now discontinued and the factory has only 5 left to go out and then that is the end [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img] I imagine that is why we never saw the new JJ model come out. This is kinda sad, especially when I want to buy one, well new anyways. Jack.

It makes me wonder what the thought process behind artists is at Jackson, if this is true. Scott had been with them for ages and has always been a visible guy...even to the mainstream. I mean, the guys goatee gets mentioned in Maxim and Stuff, so his name must have some cache.
The JJ is one hell of a cool guitar - I hope this is just dealer b/s.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Me too!! I thought of eventually ordering a Custom Shop with 24 frets. [img]graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] If it's discontinued, not sure if they'll do a custom on those now.

Man there is a smokin gold one at the local shop by me but they want a mint for it. It was something crazy like $2100 or something. Is that what they really cost? It WAS nice though, love that gold top with the ebony board [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

Wow, I didn`t know about those threads as my old computer fried and didn`t have a computer for about a month [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] Well, that is the end of the JJ2, so 5 at the factory and some new ones spread across the land in stores somewhere!! Jack.
