I would use Jason Becker's Carvin as a starting point since he's one of my major influences and Carvin no longer makes the pointy headstock so it is a dream. I actually am trying to find a guy who will build me one for a good price right now.

-Make the guitar black
-Replace the Kaler with an OFR
-Replace the Carvin pickups with Dimarzio X2N and super Distortion
-Just for the heck of it make it a 7 string with the same pointy head stock

I'd have to go with...

- JJ style mahogany body with a flamed maple top, finished in Root Beer with natural binding.
- Mahogany neckthru with tung oil finish and a profile swiped from my Iceman.
- Ebony board with no inlays.
- ToM with stop tailpiece. 1 vol, 1 tone, 1 toggle. - Black hardware, naturally.
- This is making my guitar pants go crazy. Just thought I'd let you know.

Neck: maple
Fretboard: ebony or rosewood w/ an oblique cutaway in the end
Frets: 24 jumbo
Inlay: classic shark fin [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
Headstock: probably standard Jackson (in some cases maybe a reversed one), black or in the colour of body
Binding: yes, white on neck and headstock
Finish: dark red (burgundy)
Pups: EMG 81 or 85 bridge, EMG SA mid, EMG SA neck
Bridge: I would prefer a JT-580LP or maybe a better one
Hardware: black
Tuners: black Jackson die-cast
Graphic: maybe some white/grey transparent (30-50 % opacity) circle with rays around it, circled around pickups and bridge
