Re: dinkys size
This picture shows you the two bodies next to each other. The snakeskin (full sized strat) is a tad larger than the other guitars around it. (Dinkies and Soloists)

Re: dinkys size
Once I downloaded this pic from ebay. It shows 1:1 scale body diagrams which have been enclosed to the Jackson catalogs in the late 1980s.
You can see the Jackson Vintage style which means full size Strat body and Dinky style. I compared the Strat body diagram with my Charvel Strats and with my Fender 1979 Stratocaster, and all guitars exactly match with the diagram. The Dinky is 7/8 of the Strat body. There is also to mention that there are 22 frets and 24 frets Dinkys, and that the 24 fret Dinkys have longer cutaways than the 22 fret Dinkys.

Re: dinkys size
Way cool diagram shot...I got a tracing from GMW today showing how the new Dinky bodies are even more cut out in the upper bouts than the "vintage" version...further evolution. The overall outline is the same, but the horns are slimmer, access is increased and it appears the heal is in a different place - this too on a body that will accept a 22 fret neck.

What I still miss are diagrams of the headstocks, or better complete diagrams of the complete guitars.
In the 1980s (when Jackson was only a custom shop), Jackson enclosed the diagrams to the catalogs.
It would be great, if Jackson would still provide these diagrams to the custom shop customers. Maybe they could offer the diagrams as download (the best in a vectorized format to use in graphics software) on the website.
